Please note, the PC will need to be on a network that has access to the domain you wish to connect to for this process
- Click the Start Menu icon
- Click on the Settings cog wheel icon
- Click on the System tab on the right, then click on About at the bottom of the list
- Click the Advanced System Settings option
- In the window that pops up, click on the Computer Name tab
- Click the Change button
- Under the Member Of heading, toggle the Domain option
- Fill in the full domain name in the field provided
- Click the OK button
- If required, enter in Domain Administrator credentials
- Restart the computer so the change can sync to the server
Azure AD
Please note, the PC will need an active Internet connection for this process
- Click the Start Menu icon
- Click on the Settings cog wheel icon
- Click on the Accounts tab on the right and then Access Work or School
- Click on the Connect button
- On the next screen, click the Join this device to Azure Active Directory option
- On the next screen, enter in your email address in the Work or school account field and click the Next button
- On the next screen, type your email password in the field, and then click the Sign in button
- Review the information that appears to ensure the details are correct, and then click the Join button
