Please note, the PC will need to be on a network that has access to the domain you wish to connect to for this process

  1. Click the Start Menu icon
  2. Click on the Settings cog wheel icon
  3. Click on the System tab on the right, then click on About at the bottom of the list
  4. Click the Advanced System Settings option
  5. In the window that pops up, click on the Computer Name tab
  6. Click the Change button
  7. Under the Member Of heading, toggle the Domain option
  8. Fill in the full domain name in the field provided
  9. Click the OK button
  10. If required, enter in Domain Administrator credentials
  11. Restart the computer so the change can sync to the server


Azure AD

Please note, the PC will need an active Internet connection for this process

  1. Click the Start Menu icon
  2. Click on the Settings cog wheel icon
  3. Click on the Accounts tab on the right and then Access Work or School
  4. Click on the Connect button
  5. On the next screen, click the Join this device to Azure Active Directory option

  6. On the next screen, enter in your email address in the Work or school account field and click the Next button
  7. On the next screen, type your email password in the field, and then click the Sign in button
  8. Review the information that appears to ensure the details are correct, and then click the Join button
