How to step up your Mobile Device to Access Google Authenticator.


Android Instructions:


1. On your phone of choice, locate your apple or play store. 

2. Once opened Search for "Google Authenticator" You should have the same icon in both stores.



3. Once the Application has been installed you can open it from your phone by searching the application or by selecting Open from the your application store.

4. When you Open the Application you will be greeted with a message to set up your first account or to import your old account if you have one on an old phone.




Note: Depending on the Website you are accessing you will be prompted for MFA or 2FA as soon as you have entered your Username and Password.


5.  Go to the Website Authenticator (2FA/MFA) code that you would like added.


6. Scan the QR code, most applications will give an option to also enter the code manually like the example below.




7. Once the Authentication has been scanned it will appear in your list of authentications with the name of the website.

If you need scan a new QR code you can select the plus icon in the bottom right corner.



Your Google Authenticator is now ready to authenticate.
